Achyranthes is a deep-rooted crop and should be planted in sandy soil with deep soil layers, loose and fertile, well-drained and low water table. After the previous crop was harvested, the soil was deeply plowed for more than 60 cm, and the topsoil was irrigated to make the topsoil solid. After a little drying, 1,250 kg of decomposed fertilizer and 50 kg of phosphate fertilizer were applied per acre to mix evenly, compost for a few days, and tear evenly on the topsoil layer. , and then ploughed once more, and used basal fertilizer in the soil. After leveling and harrowing, make a high border with a width of 1.3 meters, a furrow of 40 cm, and open a deep drainage ditch around it for sowing.

1. Sowing can be sown in spring and summer. The best time to sow is from March to June. Soak the seeds in warm water at 20°C for a few hours, pick them up and dry them, and then mix them evenly with plant ash, human and animal manure, and sow them on the border. Soil, then sprinkle a layer of fine soil, about 1.1.5 cm thick, and finally, sprinkle a thin layer of chaff on the border surface to facilitate the emergence of seedlings. The amount of seeds used per acre is 400 grams.

2. Field management
①Preserving seedlings, thinning and replenishing seedlings. Keep a certain humidity in the field after sowing, and seedlings can emerge in 4-5 days. The seedlings grow weakly at the beginning, and in case of dry weather, they should be watered in time to protect the seedlings. When the seedling height is 5.7 cm, start the first thinning, remove the weak and leave the strong, and keep the distance between the seedlings 6-7 cm. When the height of the seedlings is 15.17 cm, the seedlings are fixed according to the row spacing of 15 cm × 15 cm. When there is a shortage of seedlings, choose a cloudy day to replenish the seedlings.

② cultivating weeding, top dressing. Generally, cultivating and weeding is carried out 3 times. After the seedlings are sprouted, the first weeding is carried out, and the thin human and animal manure and urine are mixed with fire soil ash, and 1000 kg per acre is spread.
