Angelica is a low-temperature long-day crop, suitable for high-cold and cool climates, and can be cultivated at an altitude of about 1500-3000m. In the low sea area, the bolting rate is high, and it is not easy to over summer. The seedling stage likes shade, the light transmittance is 10%, avoid direct sunlight; the adult plant can withstand strong light. It should be cultivated in deep, loose, well-drained, fertile sandy loam rich in humus.
When the seeds germinate well (the germination rate is over 70%), the sowing rate per mu is about 7.5 kg, and the seeds are soaked for 24 hours (water temperature 30 degrees) before sowing. There are two types of drilling and spreading. Sowing is to spread the seeds evenly on the leveled border surface, and cover with about 0.5 cm of fine loam to cover the seeds. Drilling is to divide the horizontal furrows according to the row spacing of 20 cm, and the depth of the furrows is 3-5 cm. The seeds are evenly sown into the furrows and covered with fine loam, so that the seeds are not seen.
