Camptotheca acuminata (scientific name: Camptotheca acuminata.), also known as Eclipta prostrata, water chestnut, water tung tree, catalpa tree, Eclipta prostrata, Qianzhang tree, wild banana, water desert seed, is a plant of the blue fruit tree family, camptotheca genus. Camptotheca acuminata is a kind of tall deciduous tree peculiar to China, and it is a fast-growing and high-yielding fine tree species. Deciduous trees, more than 20 meters high. The bark is gray or light gray, split longitudinally into shallow grooves.
