Description
Citrus (Citrus reticulata Blanco) is a plant of the Rutaceae family and the citrus genus. Sex likes a warm and humid climate, and its cold resistance is slightly stronger than that of grapefruit, lime and sweet orange. The Rutaceae Citrus subfamily is distributed between 16° and 37° north latitude. It is a tropical and subtropical evergreen fruit tree (except for Citrus aurantium). There are 3 genera used for economic cultivation: Citrus aurantium, Citrus and Kumquat. The citrus cultivated in China and other countries in the world are mainly Citrus genus.
The flowers are solitary or 2-3 clusters; the calyx is irregularly 5-3 lobed; the petals are usually within 1.5 cm; the stamens are 20-25, the style is slender, and the stigma is capitate. Flowering period from April to May, fruit period from October to December.
