Description
Dendrobenthamia hongkongensis (scientific name: Dendrobenthamia hongkongensis (Hemsl.) Hutch.) is an evergreen tree or shrub of the genus Si Zhaohua, 5-15 meters high, and sparsely up to 25 meters; the bark is dark gray or dark brown, smooth. The leaves are opposite, thin leathery to thick leathery, elliptical to oblong, sparsely obovate ellipse. The flower head is spherical and is composed of about 50-70 flowers. Distributed in eastern Zhejiang, southern Jiangxi, Fujian, southern Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces. It grows in dense forests or mixed forests in humid valleys at an altitude of 350-1700 meters.
