Lentil Sprouts

1. Soaking seeds at 20-25°: 8-12 hours.

2. Put 6-8 layers of restaurant paper or cotton gauze at the bottom of the seedling tray. Wet the paper towel and then drain the soaked seeds and spread them evenly on the paper. Cover the seeds with a layer of paper towel and also spray wet, and then cover with a layer of shading towel.

3. You can start eating after 3-4cm, which usually takes about a week.

Precautions for planting lentil sprouts

1. Temperature: Lentils are not resistant to low temperature, and proper temperature should be ensured during maintenance. The temperature between 18 and 28 degrees grows best. If the temperature is too high, the branches and leaves of the lentils will droop. In severe cases, the branches and leaves will dry up. If the temperature is too low, the plants will grow slowly. Therefore, be sure to control the temperature when the lentil sprouts are growing.

2. Watering: Lentils need a lot of water during germination, and the soil should be kept moist for a long time, but the watering should be moderate. Every morning, noon and night, water should not be sprayed too much, which will easily accumulate water and cause the seeds to rot. Especially in the two periods of flowering and fruiting, it is necessary to increase watering appropriately to promote plant growth.
 
3. Before the lentil seedlings grow 2 cm, it is not recommended to see light, and it needs to be protected from light to promote germination. When it grows for about 5 days (sprouts are 4-5 cm), the paper and towel can be removed and placed in a light and ventilated place. place, but be careful not to expose to direct sunlight.
