Description
Lantana (scientific name: Lantana camara L.) is a plant of the genus Lantana in the Verbena family. Upright or trailing shrubs, 1-2 meters high, sometimes vine-like, up to 4 meters long; stems and branches are all square. Single leaves are opposite, and have a strong odor after rubbing. The leaves are ovate to ovoid. The diameter of the inflorescence is 1.5-2.5 cm; the peduncle is stout and longer than the petiole; the bracts are lanceolate, 1-3 times longer than the calyx, with coarse hairs on the outside. The fruit is round, about 4 mm in diameter, and purple-black when mature. Bloom throughout the year
