Full and plump purple passion fruit seeds have stable germination rate and strong activity. Purple passion fruit is a perennial evergreen climbing fruit vine. It has unique beautiful exotic flowers, and the mature purple peel fruit contains rich juicy pulp with strong aromatic flavor, widely used for fresh eating, juice making and beverage raw materials.
This fruit vine likes warm and sunny growing environment, has good heat resistance, but poor cold resistance. It will suffer frost damage when temperature drops below 0℃, and cannot survive outdoor winter in cold northern areas. It grows vigorously with strong climbing ability, can wrap around trellises, fences and pergolas quickly, with both fruit yield and ornamental value. It adapts to general mountain soil with certain drought tolerance. Seedlings can bear fruits within 1 to 2 years after planting. Widely used in family courtyard trellis climbing planting, balcony large pot cultivation, commercial fruit orchards and garden vertical greening. It prefers deep, loose, fertile well-drained slightly acidic sandy loam soil. Low-lying waterlogged land and heavy sticky clay soil must be avoided to prevent root rot and poor fruiting. Daily management is easy, just ensure sufficient sunlight, timely drainage in rainy season and regular topdressing in growing period, which is a practical multi-purpose vine for fruit harvesting, vertical greening and flower viewing.
