Seedlings can be sown in spring or autumn. On the prepared seedbed, open a ditch at a row spacing of 10-15 cm and a depth of 5 cm. Cover the border with thatch to keep warm and moisturizing, water it thoroughly, and seedlings can emerge 20-25 days after sowing. In case of spring drought after sowing, it should be watered in time to make the soil moisture content reach 40% to facilitate the emergence of seedlings. After emergence, weeding and loosening the soil should be carried out 3 times continuously, so that the border surface is free of weeds. When the seedling height is 8 cm, topdressing is applied, and 1000 kg of manure and 15 kg of superphosphate are applied per mu.
