Description
White elm (Ulmus pumila L.), also known as home elm and elm, is a deciduous tree of the Ulmus family and the genus Ulmus, with a round crown. There are about 40 species of elm trees, which are mainly produced in the northern temperate zone. There are 24 species in China, which are distributed throughout the country. For example, there are white elm, black elm, and large fruit elm in the north; Taiwan elm and multiveined elm in the south; Kunming elm and small fruit elm in the southwest. There are many applications for rural greening, and it is generally used for gardens and factories in cities. It is basically not used for greening and afforestation, and natural germplasm resources have been severely damaged, and the number has dropped sharply.
